Day 5 Update on Video Overviews
Recap of the first 5 videos of Lists of 30
Random Observation/Comment #908: It’s absolutely weird watching an AI describe my life concepts back to me (and doing a better job than I do with summarizing it).
This has been a fun challenge so far. Off the heels of a work conference trip to Argentina, I am lucky to have done some lead time processing for this project. So many days of YouTube postings ahead!
Day 1: 30 Principles for Writing Lists of 30
There is something deeply surreal about feeding your own life’s philosophy into a neural network and hearing a synthetic voice explain it back to you with surprising empathy. For Day 1 of my 30-Day NotebookLM Challenge, I decided to start at the source: The “Lists of 30” framework itself.
“As the prompt in the video suggests: ‘Getting to 10 should be easy, right?’ Let’s see if getting to Day 30 is just as fun.”
Day 2: 30 Passive Inputs that can Inspire Active Outputs
The “Active Flip” phrase was made up by . Tiny and powerful shifts from taking things to actually doing, making, and planning something. I like how the NotebookLM talks about empowerment with a clear call to action.
Spark a specific actionable goal... Don’t just collect a folder full of ideas. Finish something.
Day 3: 30 Levels of Dopamine
Not all joy is created equal. Cheap dopamine is the junk food of happiness. Why climb the ladder at all? Work towards a single foundation for her.
Where do you spend most of your time in this ladder? Are you stuck on the bottom or making the conscious effort to climb?
Day 4: 30 Reasons Why I Cook
NotebookLM is really good at doing those one-liners. Cooking is my therapy. It’s a craft. I love myself a tasty puzzle. A single recipe can be a time capsule.
The process itself has to be the reward because the result is gone in minutes
Day 5: 30 Things I’m Making
Tangible things make me happy. It was good to see this broken down into a few parts of classically being a part of this journey. I forgot that I wrote this in order to feed it into AI afterwards so it can help me make these.
Create more than you consume
This has been fun so far. I have been refining automations, but things are looking good for creating a scalable workflow for this.

Random Observation/Comment #907: Why do I even need to create content anymore? Maybe I should just speak in bullet points so we don’t need the AI conversions of niceties.
