I still publish new material on seelemons.com whenever I find something intriguing to write about. This monthly newsletter is to give a heads up about those articles that might be interesting.
Theme of the Month - Crypto Gatherings and War
The questions that led me to the posts for February were:
How can I make crypto events more inclusive to developers?
WTF!?!
What started off as an incredibly fun month with ETHDenver and a vacation in Silverthorne has now led to the beginning of a full on war between Russia and Ukraine. Covid being “over” and accepted as an endemic seemed like it would be good news, but there’s always something brewing. While economic sanctions are likely going to suffocate Russia’s economy for the next 2 weeks before large scale collapse, I think Russia’s allies can attack across multiple fronts and start World War 3. Ah crap.
The blogposts I’ve published this month were:
30 Crypto Topics for ETHDenver - No shortage of interesting hot topics and buzzwords to talk about at ETH conferences. I really looked forward to the week of events.
30 Awesome Things at ETHDenver - ETHDenver actually turned out to be quite fun even though it was a super spreader event of COVID. I do always appreciate when events are focused on the developers.
30 Impacts of War - Welp. We’re at war. So many things to think about and I’m just scratching the surface. Did a brain dump on impacts.
Some ideas for March 2022? I don’t know. The world is pretty messed up right now, so I’ll hopefully write something cheerful in the next few weeks.
Thank you for reading and I hope everyone stays safe!
Please suggest a list of 30 and I’ll write it! I’ve written over 200 lists of 30 and only publish ones that I think other people would enjoy. It’s my fun brainstorming routine.
