Dreaming and Cruising
Theme of the Month - Dreaming and Cruising
The questions that led me to the posts for Feb 2023 were:
What do you hope for in Evie’s future?
What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
What does peak dad performance look like?
How was the Disney cruise?
I didn’t publish any of the articles from my brainstorm list in the previous month’s update because I just thought of random things. Thus is life.
The cruise was absolutely fantastic. No internet for 5 nights was tough, but I made it out with only a few 100 emails and messages. I’m already back to steady-state and ready for ETHDenver.
The blogposts I’ve published this month were:
30 Hopes for the Future - I just hope we’re making good decisions to make our future a better place.
30 Pieces of Advice for my 20s - I don’t know why this was a big trend on LPT reddit. Everyone kept asking the decade ahead of them what they would do looking back. There were a lot of great threads that inspired me to complete the list. Similar themes around health and relationships.
30 Peak Dad Moments - Writing a list of 30 about being peak dad is meta peak dad in itself.
[Travel Advice] Disney Cruise - Step by step itinerary with lots of photos. Instagram has been doing some funky cropping so I’m frustrated with it. I’ll probably just post one or two random things.
Some ideas for March 2023? I’m still going to wing it.
30 ELI5 Topics for Evie - Started keeping track of random topics I tell Evie in the car during our commute.
30 Doses of Optimism - With so much pessimism out there, it’s always good to have the positive outlook into the future.
30 AI Companies - I’ve been following this closely for the past few months and seeing some great use cases manifest.
30 Burn After Writing Prompts - This is a “filler” list of 30 because it doesn’t take much effort to find prompts from a book, but I’ll explain why each question made me contemplate or brought forth good memories.
30 Streams of Income - I started writing this huge spreadsheet in Nov 2022, so I might as well publish something chunky and substantial
40 under 40 - I have triumphantly completed my 30 under 30 but I’ve taken a bit of a break the past 6 years due to procrastination. I would like to set new goals and tackle them.
“Our Life in Lists of 30” Book - I really need to publish this second book. I already wrote so much, but I want to complete this stage of my life so I can move forward to “Her Life in Lists of 30”
Thank you for reading and I hope everyone stays safe!
Please suggest a list of 30 and I’ll write it! I’ve written 230+ lists of 30 and only publish ones that I think other people would enjoy. It’s my fun brainstorming routine
