Month of Nov 2025
Kentucky, Argentina DevConnect, and Uruguay Day Trip
//Unreal sunset seen in Colonia, Uruguay. Almost missed my flight for it.
Theme of the Month - Kentucky, Argentina DevConnect, and Uruguay Day Trip
The questions/thoughts that led me to the posts for Nov 2025 were:
What are my bad habits?
What are the Wan house rules and conversations we should have?
How was the Kentucky bourbon trail?
What are the NotebookLM Video Overviews challenge?
How was Uruguay for a day?
This was a wild month of travel for work and pleasure. It’s both fun and hard (but mostly fun for me and hard for my wife). I am grateful for her support and I miss family bedtime cuddles. The more I travel, the more I’m sure my “retirement” cadence is actually a 10-day adventure followed by a 2 week home schedule break. I think anything else would be too stressful for planning or just feel like we’re out of rhythm of our day-to-day exercise and cooking routine.
I haven’t found a list of 30 to write about this, but I do feel like the AI bubble is about to pop. Maybe I need to write a new list of 30 about the things that worry me like this one:
The top of my list would probably be:
OpenAI investments become a blackhole because the equity value is challenged by Google’s existing dominance with Gemini 3, Nano Banana Pro, and Veo 3.1. This could lead to an unraveling of investments.
Breakthroughs with AI optimizations and scaling reduce the need for hardware chip investment (to the same degree that NVIDIA has predicted with growth). A new nano model being “smart enough” means we don’t need a super model to be called all the time.
AGI/ASI is achieved and immediately gets abused for phishing or cracking the core cryptographic security of our digital lives
3I/ATLAS is totally aliens and they do that Rick and Morty thing where they change the price of a dollar from $1 to $0.
Trump dies and the US spirals into political uncertainty
Welp. It was a good run, y’all. At least I’ll keep on writing.
The blogposts I published this month were:
I admit to some bad habits. I hope they’re not detrimental to my long term health. Most of them are about phone usage and disconnecting, so it probably will be.
We all need to do chores, but what’s more important is to understand each other’s preferences. I wrote this list to set some expectations of base usage.
We drank a lot of bourbon and took a lot of tours. Super fun.
The NotebookLM videos on youtube have begun! Follow along!
Colonia de Sacramento is one of those one-day trips from Buenos Aires you can enjoy with good weather and a bit of money. Seafood paella all day.
Some ideas for Dec 2025?
[Travel Advice] Buenos Aires, Argentina - No shortage of red meat and mate.
30 Lesser Known Luxury Items - Some luxury things that make things super comfortable.
30 Cultured Activities to Teach Evie - We just want her to be sophisticated.
NotebookLM Video Overview Reflections - Completion of the 30 day challenge of launching 30 video NotebookLM overviews
2025 Reflections - Classic article written at the end of the year to feel grateful and fortunate of the whole year of learnings.
30 Future Decade Goals - We split the next 30 years into goals per decade as mapped out by Evie’s age. This was a great activity in long term planning for her ages 6-16, 16-26, and 26-36.
Lists of 30 App - I want to build something different to house my lists of 30. I have plenty to fill a book, so why not fill an app? Why not fill a Clembot that can live in this app and help others with this writing journey? It’s all vibes.
Thank you for reading and I hope everyone stays safe! See y’all in the new year!
Please suggest a list of 30 and I’ll write it! I’ve written 300+ lists of 30 and only publish ones that I think other people would enjoy. It’s my fun brainstorming routine.
