Phish Sphere in Vegas
//Melting my face off at Phish
Theme of the Month - Phish Sphere in Vegas
The questions/thoughts that led me to the posts for Apr 2026 were:
What product strategies are defensible now that we’re vibe coding every feature with AI and all out of work people seem to be solo entrepreneur-ing?
What does an Agent-led future of work look like?
How was your Narita airport layover in 2014?
What human insights do you have from the past few months?
How was Phish at the Sphere?
Why do you love physical TT?
I just wanted to highlight a piece I published on LinkedIn about Clembot:
The piece is here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-7-versions-my-personal-ai-clembot-taught-me-future-clemens-wan-dcbdc
I finally figured it out why AI dev systems are so addictive to build. It’s the same feeling I get when I get a new phone or gadget. I just want to tinker and optimize with more customizations. It’s so easy to just build it if it doesn’t exist, especially if it's all just local. It’s now a skills app store that helps me be more productive all around.
AI dev is much more addictive than Web3 complexities because the barrier to entry is so low. It’s continuous improvement and building on systems.
On a separate note, I still feel like I’m recoverin from Phish at the Sphere. It was a singularity of greatness and I think I’ll be chasing a show of similar caliber the rest of my life. I have reached the acme of greatness.
If you want to watch all the recaps I had from phish, I have been posting on my Instagram:
I’ve recently turned on paid subscriptions. I asked Clembot how I can nudge the time I spend in the right direction towards a side hustle and it seems like the apps I’ve built can come together nicely. More of this to come next month.
The blogposts I published this month were:
Since we have no moats, you’ll have to create your own. Here’s my reflection on the strategies that I think could make your product more defensible.
An agent-led enterprise is on top of mind. I think those of us in software will become some level of agent managers as every CapEx looks at the minimal viable team for matching outputs. What I feel is the overwhelming amount of work and pressure to produce. Remember to pace it out.
Narita airport is still one of my favorite layovers. Let’s just go live in Japan.
Random insights are still my favorite! These always give me a chuckle.
Phish melted my face off and changed my life. I don’t think we can top it. Almost 11 hours of just watching the most crazy immersive and epic music of my life over the course of 3 days.
TT is awesome. Keep playing TT. I’m still going to chase the times that once were (now that it’s gone). See y’all in 10 years to continue the routine.
Some ideas for May 2026?
30 Cultured Activities to Teach Evie - Classy never goes out of style
30 Days of Drawing - I’m having fun drawing these low polygon isometric views
30 YouTube Subjects I curated for my daughter - YouTube is so dangerous. We all want to watch this content that gets you absorbed. After watching with my daughter, I’ve tried to find channels that encourage activity and deeper thinking.
30 Vibe working experiments - With AI doing all the digital things, here are the 30 rabbit hole questions and results I’ve gotten just querying Clembot a bit deeper. This is a great 30 day challenge.
Life in Lists of 30 Audiobooks - As I record these, it’s actually pretty relaxing. It feels a bit weird reading my own book.
Thank you for reading and I hope everyone stays safe! See y’all in the new year!
Please suggest a list of 30 and I’ll write it! I’ve written 360+ lists of 30 and only publish ones that I think other people would enjoy. It’s my fun brainstorming routine.
